Wheels to Work

Wheels to Work (W2W) is intended to help those struggling with a lack of affordable transport to get to work, a training course or further education. Wheels to Work has operators around the UK able to hire out insured powered two-wheeled scooters, usually with a maintenance package and delivery included.

About the Wheels 2 Work UK Charity

W2W UK (W2W UK) was set up as a charitable company on 1 April 2019 and has evolved from the Wheels 2 Work Association Limited. Its aim is to prevent or relieve unemployment and to promote social inclusion and mobility.

It will do this through the provision of grants and services to other organisations working to help those without public or private transport to access employment, training, or further education. It will seek funding from a variety of sources, including charitable trusts, lottery funding, local and national governments, and the private sector, in order to achieve a more comprehensive network of w2W schemes across the country.

What you need:

To qualify for Wheels to Work scooter hire you need to be over 16 and have at least a provisional driving licence and a current CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) certificate

What’s included:

Depending on your Wheels to Work provider, you scooter hire fees can include your CBT, scooter hire, insurance, delivery, servicing and protective clothing and helmet.
